NEW BUSINESS:

KN5O suggested that LCC members give more support to K5QE at his VHF contest station.

KN5O requested that LCC members collaborate on contest operating schedules to maximize the lead time to prepare for multi-op opportunities across the state.  Invitations to host guest operators with sufficient lead time would improve member’s ability to plan to be there.

K5ER suggested that all members utilize the LCC e-mail reflector to run multi/single/team competition ideas up the flagpole for all to consider.

W5AG suggested LCC poll the members to prioritize a minimum of three annual contests to give full club-wide effort, whether as multi-op or single-op on team(s).  Consider the strengths and weaknesses of each station, time of year, etc.  The intent is to give the combined best efforts of the entire club.

W5WZ reported on N5LCC standings in LOTW – 45 states worked

K5ER requested input from members for future presentations for LCC meetings

K5ER passed out list of 30 Ham Radio Contesting Tips

W5AG asked if LCC could host a meal event, such as group breakfast or lunch at a future date, perhaps in conjunction with the LCC meeting.
