Things to do when you enter a contest
for club competition:
|
When you operate radio contests and
would like to contribute to a club effort, the LCC would appreciate
your points. Please check the contest rules, you must be a member in
good standing for CLUB competition, but need not be a member for
TEAM competition. No log is too small. Simply add the following line to
your Cabrillo Log file for club competition:
CLUB: Louisiana Contest Club
And enter
Louisiana Contest Club #
followed by your assigned team number for Team competition.
Most logging programs will prompt you for the name of your club and
create the appropriate line in your Cabrillo file. Simply type "
Louisiana Contest Club " when prompted for the club name.

ARRL and CQ Contest |
|
This contest is about individual or multi-operator
contesting. Individual contesters can report their totals for club
competition, so that the aggregate Louisiana Contest Club totals
include members within the club area.
- Enter the contest and when ended, submit your log via email to
the address listed in rules. Make sure you include club,
Louisiana Contest Club in your submitting log as indicated above.
- Access
3830 Score Submittal Forms at and enter your contest
information, be sure to enter your Club name as
Louisiana Contest Club.
- Finally send a copy of your log to the Contest Manager, so we can
compile the information to post in the scores page.

NAQP Contest |

|
|
This contest is about team and individual competition!
- Get with other club members and form 5 member or less teams.
- Contact Contest Manager to submit names and calls or you can
setup teams yourself by completing NAQP forms at:
Team names for the Louisiana
Contest Club should be listed as "Louisiana Contest Club
#" followed by a number starting with numeral 1 and
incremented by 1 for each additional team.
- When contest has ended, submit your log via email to the email
address listed in the rules or go to NCJ Cabrillo
Log Submission and paste your Cabrillo Log information.. Make sure you include the Team Name
with # and club name as indicated above.
- Access
3830 Score Submittal Forms
and enter your contest
summary information, be sure to enter your Team name as
Louisiana Contest Club #
followed by your assign team number and the club name as Louisiana
Contest Club.
- Finally send a copy of your log to the Contest Manager, so we can
compile the information to post in the scores page.
